– One of a kind
In this illustration from Soma’s Journey, rain softens the soil. Soma the snail moves slowly through the damp earth, her shell catching droplets of water. The air feels fresh, as if the world is breathing again. From a small opening in the soil, an earthworm emerges, its presence simple yet full of quiet assurance. The two meet at the threshold between surface and underground—two worlds touching for a brief, meaningful moment. The earthworm speaks of purpose not as something distant, but as something deeply rooted: the work of turning what has fallen into nourishment, of keeping the ground alive so that new life can grow. Soma listens, stirred by admiration and longing.
.A scene about belonging, contribution, and the quiet intelligence of the earth.
