"Joyful Daisy" is an original illustration from my picture book "The Courage to Bloom".

As one of the characters in the story, the daisy embodies joy and a pioneer spirit. Daisies have always felt like a symbol of simple happiness to me. They bloom wherever they please, reaching for the light, unbound by human borders and fences. Perhaps they remind you, too, of the quiet strength and beauty found in small things.
