From 2020 Painted with Acrylics on Canvas Size: 60x60cm The Original was donated to the Pacha Moma Visionary Art Museum in Mexico. This canvas has been going through many stages before it came to be this finished painting. It started about 10 years ago with the silhouette of a Native American flute player at sunset. I completely forgot about this work until I was cleaning my old closet. There are a lot of old acrylic paintings in there. This one told me that it wanted to be refined, so I spent a few weeks painting new layers on top of it. The idea of music stayed with me. So the painting became all about nature’s music - the beautiful singing of birds, leaves rustling in the wind, streaming rivers... nature’s sounds are so healing.
